Hello dear friends!
Haven’t posted here for a while.
Everything is going fine and work is getting harder and harder. It is been two month since I am working on my molds for porcelain casting and finally today is the day when first green ware firing is completed.

First mold will be used for 5-6 dolls, all in different make-up, color, hair etc… I have called this mold Lilly, after the mythological first woman named Lilith (second will be Eve for sure :}). Dolls from Lilly mold will be not typical – not fairies, not elves and even not tribal. I am working on series which is preliminary called “Very Human”. This is more fashion doll project, based on my passion in style – tattoos, funny glasses, beetle boots and hats. Hipster, hippie, jazzy and funky girls with attitude. Because this is what fashion is about now – no more shiny cocktail dresses and high heels - this girls are people you see on the street and definitely pay attention to.

Each girl will have it’s little story – basis for her style. You will know where she works or what she studies, what kind of music she listens and which clubs she prefers.
First ladies nick name is Lucky Lilly and she knows what old school is. She will have a lot of traditional tattoos done and is going to be rockin’ lady with tender heart.
All Very Human dolls are casted from finest Australian Southern Ice porcelain, colored with under and over glazes. They hold most of possible human poses and all joints are functioning perfectly. Joints are sealed with finest leather you could imagine :}
Dolls are on pre-sale now. You can reserve your own Very Human doll for deposit of 50% via my Etsy page http://www.etsy.com/listing/83474869/porcelain-doll-made-to-order-pre-sale or by sending me private message. Pre-ordered dolls can be slightly updated by customers will – you can describe what kind of tattoos you like, change her face little bit, get ideas about her outfit and hairstyle.
Pre-order doll price is 600 Eu. This is promotional price for first 5 dolls and is considered to be very reasonable for porcelain one of a kind. Later dolls will be more expensive!
Readymade dolls price will be 750 Eu.

Summer is hot and gentle like never before, sun is shining and my heart is full of creative energy, which requires to be released and realized.
I want to share my experience of creating this new piece, which is called “Fairy Womb”, with you. This composition became something like a summary of whole new understandings, which came upon me during last few months.

Sometimes information is just falling on us – all we need is to be attentive and don’t miss signs, which clearly indicate which way you should head on now. Few months ago, after some deep spiritual experiences, I got this thesis of Female essence of God deeply rooted in my heart. First gently – in some thoughts, in sweet and tender dreams, then information started to come to me through books, virtual sources and finally I heard it in words of Teachers.
Few weeks ago I have attended workshop of amazing singer and simply gorgeous woman http://www.peruquois.com . This few hours in deep connection with Mother Earth, with other woman in the circle and with woman within me raised huge potential of creative energy, which I materialized in this work, days later.
Woman’s essence is in creative energy of Mother Earth. We are doorway to Cosmos, releasing new life into this world, containing Cosmos within itself again. Endless cycle of realization of female creative energy – this is the essence of life and of art. While working on this doll I got to deep understanding of how important it is for woman to create, to let her love to Mother Earth, to Family, to her people be materialized in little pieces of art. This is so close to giving birth.
While beading this cocoon, in which little fairy is dreaming, I thought of beading which women were doing though centuries all over the Earth. Beading always had sacral meaning for people, they contained not only signs and symbols but love of woman who was making them with intention to protect and take care. This is what Mothers do – they protect and take care. I have collected some gem stones and crystals, I looked for color which reminded me of flesh color, to symbolize the womb, to remind of sacred female blood, due to which all of us are being born.
While going through this process I have noticed how my position as artists starts to change. I realized that creating not for expressing my personal point of view, but for making something protective and filled with Mothers energy, grants me so much love back after piece is finished. Tender and sweet is feeling of releasing creation which is not actually projection of yourself, but comes from inside for you.
Not every woman must have children, but every woman must be a Mother.

Art is therapy. Art is science. Art is practice. This is great job for your consciousness – watch yourself and analyze yourself through your creations. While you are not experienced yogi or chi-qong master or whoever - you are Ego. I am Ego. And while we are Ego - we transmit it in our works. Pure art is coming from divine source. And to reach the Source we need time, we need years of instant work, we need clarity and concentration. Being an artist is way to get closer to the divine by carefully watching yourself, by being attentive to what comes out while you are creating. Letting yourself flow with all information which is breaking through with your pencil or brush can give you an amazing experience of meeting with your inner self. Its like meditation – while you just learn to concentrate you find yourself unbalanced again and again, loosing ideas, loosing your topic of concentration and finding yourself in totally different thoughts. First thing we do when we learn to meditate – we don’t fight our mind, we watch it, we observe. And it is same with art – watch your mind, observe your process.
And with every step, if you have discipline, if you have willpower, if you have wish to know why we are all here, you will be amazed how huge is potential for your works, what incomprehensible amount of information is coming when you create, and what is most amazing – after you finish work you realize that you have learned something while working on it. You really do receive knowledge when you create, that is why it is so important to learn not to just fix your past experiences like some memory photo cam, but to experience while painting, to let process overcome you and not to be a master anymore. You are not author of work – work is your guide now, just watch and listen attentively.

Hello my dear friends.
As winter is cold and long, studio is always in progress and my heart is singing - I am coming back to painting again. Last month I spent mostly working with watercolor, technique which was my favorite since childhood. Watercolor has amazing possibilities ranging from realistic photo-like paintings and to absolute abstractions. And is very good for travelers - you need just small backpack!
In my watercolor series I am trying to find some middle between childish and visionary. I want to touch deep and serious topics like religions, practices, medicinal power plants etc., but I want to see it easy and cozy, without "break opening your brain". Soft and tender like Mothers love, that is the way I feel it. I want to see it in easy illustrative style, suitable for children story.
I have done two paintings dedicated to medicinal power of plants and shamanism and I feel like I want to share some thoughts on my works with you
First one was dedicated to traditions of Shuar tribe, living in the forests of Amazon. Woman on painting is representing singer on the ceremony, chanting sacred song or prayer, which is aimed at the heart of the universe from the bow of love. That is where our prayers go - Heart of the Universe. She sings about connections of everything on this planet, she sings about ancient spirits of trees, joining sky and earth together and giving us breath. She sings song about birds living on those trees. She sings about moon and fire, sings with love and without asking for anything, she is just thankful. In hands she is holding medicinal vine, which represent her connection with spirit of plant, and musical instrument, which is actually bamboo leaves tightened together - instrument used in healing indigenous ceremonies.

I wanted this drawing to look both illustrative and mystical.
And second painting which I dedicated to medicinal plant tradition is called "Sweet Medicine".
I started this painting as illustration of the vine plant, but while working on it I came to deep understanding that everything around us is medicine. Love, joy, air, water, fire - everything in this world is created to be pure and purifying . I guess we forgot about this and only with clear intention to be healed from ignorance we can see that whole universe is full of instruments and medicines to help us get purified again.

Flowers on this drawing represent few ways of medicine, and each finally is leading to love. One of interpretations of flowers flowing out of her mouth is cleaning effects of plants, which may seem sometimes painful, but actually lead to pure beauty and happiness. Every medicine needs to be gone through - healing is never pleasant physically, unless you simply take it with gratitude and joy. Gratitude makes suffering transformed into pleasure.
I wanted this painting to be tender and sweet, to show how pleasant it is to be purified and healed with great power of Mother.
I am absolutely happy I have now opportunity to spend time working on this!

with love from all my heart

Hello again!
Well last days I've been working non-stop and have some progress photos to share with you!
First of all my ball jointed "Lima" is almost done - now she is just waiting for extra-quality string to come and fix her body perfectly. She has two dresses in progress, which are total surprise.
I should say that very big role for my bjd project is my mothers. She is making clothes for ball jointed dolls. I am so excited to see how she just read my mind and do it just like I dream.
Her dresses are going to be be done from silk, hand-colored, beaded. She already has silk underwear and stockings. Her hair are done from Icelandic sheep wool, hand colored to look smilar to her clothing and to give her little bit of "forest" mood.
Doll will be listed for sale in two weeks.

More news - Tristania for Shakespeare theme project is finally in progress. Only trouble. ....well I guess that my interpretation of Shakespearean poems looks little bit not traditional. Well...
Dress for Tristania, like dresses for all oter static dolls, are done by me. Few more days left....
